The legendary Wu-Tang Clan has announced their final tour of Australia, returning to our shores next year for our last chance to bid farewell to the rap group.
33 years after forming in Staten Island, New York City, the formidable and hugely influential crew will return down under for the first time since 2023, headlining shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in March 2026.
Titled Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, this tour kicked off in North America back in June and featured many of the surviving Wu members — RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna — alongside Young Dirty Bastard (son of the late Ol' Dirty Bastard).
"This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers," ringleader RZA said in a statement earlier this year, "to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture.
"Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years."
Wu-Tang's 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), was an instant classic that is still widely considered among the greatest records of that decade, if not ever.
After that game-changing record, the group's iconic status has endured through several more albums, with members delivering powerful solo projects, including (but far from limited to) Ghostface Killah's Supreme Clientele, GZA's Liquid Swords, and Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.
Wu-Tang's recent visits to Australia have demonstrated the lasting quality of the music and its impact, as well as their passion for performing. When the Clan are firing on all cylinders, they really do 'Bring Da Ruckus'.
Overseas setlists have featured both the group's biggest and most beloved hits, as well as deep cuts and tunes they've never brought to the live stage before.
Just don't expect anything from Once Upon A Time In Shaolin - the multi-million dollar 'secret' album with a complex history and exhibited in Tasmania last year.
In any case, this may well be your last chance to witness the Wu on our shores.
