Paging all bottle-confined genies and sweet-talkin’ sugar-coated candy men, the legend that is Christina Aguilera has just announced a one-off performance in Melbourne.
For the first time in 15 years, the multi-Grammy Award-winning pop songstress will perform a special open-air concert at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, November 25.
With over 75 million records sold worldwide and a string of No.1 Billboard Hot 100 singles under her belt, Aguilera is one of the world's most famous pop singers and is often referred to as the “Voice of a Generation” due to her impressive four-octave vocal range and jaw-dropping riffs.
Presented by Untitled Group, her upcoming live performance follows the 20th anniversary of the pop album Stripped and promises to be a journey through her greatest hits such as ‘Genie in a Bottle’, ‘Dirrt’, ‘Lady Marmalade’, ‘Beautiful’, ‘Candyman’, ‘Ain’t No Other Man’, ‘What a Girl Wants’ and so much more..
Christina Aguilera’s performance is part of the Always Live programme, a 17-day statewide celebration of music across Victoria
